Initial Consultation

- Personalised Assessment: Schedule an appointment with one of our specialists to discuss your hair concerns. The type and degree of hair loss will be examined.

- Diagnosis: The doctor will provide a detailed diagnosis and discuss the possible causes of hair loss, including genetic, hormonal or lifestyle factors.

- Intervention Planning: After evaluation, the doctor will propose a personalised plan for the hair transplant intervention, including the recommended technique (FUE or FUT) and the estimated number of grafts needed.

Intervention

- Preparation for the Procedure: on the day of the procedure, the necessary tests will be performed (as needed) and the procedure will be discussed. Patients will be advised to avoid certain medications, foods or supplements before the procedure.

- Local Anaesthesia: The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

- Graft harvesting: depending on the technique chosen:

  - FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Grafts are individually extracted from the donor area (usually the back of the head) using a small puncture instrument.

  - FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) A strip of hair-bearing tissue is taken from the donor area and divided into follicular units.

- Graft Implantation:Extracted grafts are implanted in areas with thinning or missing hair, respecting a natural pattern of hair growth to achieve an aesthetically pleasing result.

Post-Intervention Care

- Follow-Up Appointment: after 7-10 days, patients return to the clinic for an assessment of the healing process and to remove the scabs, if necessary.

- Care Guide: Our doctors provide a detailed guide on how to care for the transplanted area, including product recommendations and cleaning techniques.

- Progress Monitoring: Patients are encouraged to return for regular check-ups to check progress and make sure everything is going according to plan.

Results and Recovery

- Note: The first noticeable result usually appears in about 3-4 months, and the final results become visible between 8 and 12 months.

- Long-Term Maintenance: Once the final result is achieved, to maintain the health of the hair, doctors recommend regular clinic visits and, if necessary, adjuvant treatments.
